Chicken and Rice Recipe

Recipe ingredients: 4-6 servings

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts/tights
2 cups rice
3-4 mushrooms (optional)
1 onion
1-2 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons Oil
salt
Ground pepper
water

Recipe preparation:

Preheat oven to 350 ° F. Chop mushrooms, onion and garlic. In a frying pan put the oil and butter over medium heat, when butter is melted add and sauté the mushrooms, onion and garlic for 1-2 minutes. Add washed rice and sauté stirring constantly for 2-3 minutes, then move to a baking pan. With little bit of water wash off the frying pan, add water to the rice and set aside.

Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces, add them to rice in the baking pan, season with ground pepper and salt and mix well. Add enough water to cover rice and chicken and bake covered in oven until rice and chicken are cooked, or about 30 minutes. Add more water if needed to cook the rice.
