Banitza - Bulgarian Cheese and Pastry Pie

Recipe ingredients:

1 pack Fillo Pastry sheets
3 eggs
1lb Feta cheese
100gr. Canola or vegetable Oil

Recipe preparation:

Preheat oven to 350 ° C.

Mix well eggs with crumbled feta cheese and 2/3 of oil. In a separate bowl put 2 spoonfuls of the mixture for later.

Grease a baking pan.

Open the pastry and take one sheet. Place on a bigger piece of newspaper (for easier rolling). Spread evenly a few spoonfuls of the egg mixture on the pastry sheet, and then slowly lift the end of the newspaper near you and roll the pastry. Place in the baking pan in straight lines or to form a spiral.. Repeat until all filling or pastry is used.

Add the rest of the oil to the filling mixture you put aside earlier, mix well and gently brush over the pastry.

Bake in oven until golden brown. Cut in to 2-3 inch pieces and serve warm with a cup of milk or drinkable yogurt.
